IIM Udaipur – Case Centre

IIM Udaipur, a second-generation IIM, one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country. It was set up by the Indian Government in 2011. Taking the legacy of older IIMs forward, IIMU aspires to set new benchmarks in the field of management education by combining excellence in both teaching and research. At IIM Udaipur, we are committed to becoming a globally recognized management school by 2030 and we are inevitably on our way.

About
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at IIM Udaipur was created in March 2022 as a Centre of practice. Vision 2030 of IIMU places transformational learning as one of the two key focus areas of the institute. A key component of transformational learning is excellence in teaching and learning processes. The objective of the CTL is to create and support various elements of the teaching learning ecosystem.

Vision
The CTL has a two-fold vision:

• To facilitate processes that support faculty in the delivery of high-quality, values-based, application-oriented management education.
• To engage in continuous assessment and improvement to meet the evolving requirements of quality assurance frameworks.

Activities
The CTL organises its activities under three broad categories:

• Supporting the Teaching Ecosystem.
• Facilitating the development and publishing of High-Impact Case Studies.
• Streamline processes to ensure alignment with national and international ranking and accreditation standards.

Facilitating the development and publishing of High-Impact Case Studies

• CTL sets in policies and SOPs to facilitate the development of case studies by faculty members that address real-world challenges and showcase best practices in business management.
• Create platforms for faculty collaboration and knowledge sharing, such as case study development and teaching workshops, etc.
• Encourage faculty members to engage in the development of high-quality case studies that capture real-world business challenges and solutions.
• Establish a platform for sharing and disseminating case studies internally and externally to enrich teaching practices and contribute to knowledge dissemination.

Case centre is a dedicated domain, led by Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). The Case Center is focused on creating, analysing, and distributing high-quality case studies across various disciplines. Empowered with resources and educational tools, workshops, conferences, and expert support, the care centre is committed to enhancing the educational experience for all its users. By fostering collaboration between academic experts and industry leaders, the Case Center will be a hub for innovation in case-based learning and teaching. Through this platform, we aim to support the development of practical, real-world solutions and enrich the academic environment with dynamic and interactive learning opportunities.
